Sentencing for one of Britain’s most notorious armed robbers from Cricklewood who carried out a series of raids while on day release has been adjourned.
Sean Bradish, of Shoot Up Hill, targeted four banks in Swiss Cottage, Kingsbury, Cricklewood and Ickenham, when he was out on licence between April 28 and September 28, 2012.
The Old Bailey heard in each raid, he brandished an imitation gun and got away with more than £40,000 in total.
The 46-year-old was jailed in 2002 and had led the feared Bradish Boy gang with his brother Vincent, now 50.
The siblings posed for pictures swigging champagne after threatening to shoot bank cashiers and staff and targeting security vans and bingo halls, netting more than £500,000.
Last week he pleaded guilty to six robberies, one attempted robbery and seven counts of possession of an imitation firearm.
Judge Nicholas Cooke QC told him: “It’s an automatic life sentence.”
He was due to be sentenced today but it has been adjourned for tomorrow,
