A 13-year-old boy accused of kidnapping and raping a boy under 13 in Roe Green Park has been remanded in secure accommodation until his next court appearance tomorrow.
The 13-year-old boy from north London appeared at Willesden Magistrate’s Court on Friday charged with one count of rape of a male under 13, one count of causing or inciting a child under 13 into sexual activity and one count of kidnap.
Police from the Met’s sexual offences, exploitation and child abuse command are investigating a rape in the wooded area near the junction with Kingsbury Road and Roe Green at around 9am on May 16.
They charged a 13-year-old boy the following day.
He has been remanded into secure accommodation to appear at Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court.
