Sex attacker was caught following a cold case review
A man has admitted raping a woman as she left Wembley Park Tube Station almost 25 years ago.
John Anthony Walker from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, attacked the 25-year-old woman after she on October 16, 1987, and also attacked a teenager in Marlow Railway Station in 1989.
He remained undetected until a cold case review produced DNA which showed up as a match for the 51-year-old.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with three counts of indecent assault and two counts of rape.
