A man from Neasden has been jailed for keeping a horrific collection of child pornography on his computer tablet.

Ireneusz Gawryluk, of Tanfield Avenue, was snared after police received a tip-off about his sickening stash which covered all three categories.

Officers raided an address in Colindale where they seized computer equipment and on analysis his tablet was found to contain various indecent images of children of level A to C (the worst).

The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of making indecent photos of children and three charges of possession of an indecent photo of a child.

He was jailed for four months, placed on the sex offenders register for seven years and handed a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for life last week.

Peter Saunders from the National Association for People Abused in Childhood told the Times he felt Gawryluk has been given a light sentence.

He added: “It is unacceptable that he could be a free man in as little as two months.

“The children involved would have been abused to satisfy the needs of vile creatures like Gawryluk.”
