A murder investigation has been launched after a teenager was stabbed to death in Wembley.
The 18-year-old, who has been named locally as Moumen Settar, was found suffering from knife wounds at an address in Buddings Circle, on Saturday afternoon at 1.35pm.
Police officers, paramedics and an Air Ambulance were called to the address but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Settar lived at the house with his parents and two younger sisters.
Neighbours on the quiet street have spoken off their shock.
Nimo Awali gave the family sanctuary as paramedics treated the teenager.
She said: “That time was a terrible day, very hard. This area is very quiet. I haven’t seen the boy for ages, maybe three years, he kept to himself.
“Our road is very quiet, it’s always like that.”
Michelle Gomez said: “It’s so sad, they’re a really quiet family.
“Really friendly, it’s really dreadful.
“We didn’t know what was happening, we didn’t hear any noise and suddenly there was police vehicles, an ambulance, a helicopter.”
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of his murder and is currently in custody at a police station in north London.
