A man accused of murdering a mechanic near his garage in Harlesden will stand trial in November.
Dwayne King, 30, is accused of stabbing to death 55-year-old Granville Thomas on June 29 this year.
The married father, who lives in Harrow-on-the-Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Today at the Old Bailey, King appeared by videolink from Belmarsh prison
He spoke only to confirm his name and plead not guilty to a single charge of murder.
Judge Stephen Kramer QC remanded him in custody and set a trial date for November 30, which is expected to take up to seven days.
King, of no fixed address, denies murder.
