A man who was stabbed at Notting Hill Carnival travelled to Kensal Rise with his injuries before he raised the alarm.

The victim told officers outside Kensal Rise train station he had been knifed but refused to provide further information on Sunday.

He had a cut in his head but left the scene before further assistance could have been provided.

Officers are investigating his claims.

He is one of five people stabbed during the two-day event including a 15-year-old boy.
