The hunt is on to find a group of males who pushed a man into the Grand Union Canal in Paddington.
The 53-year-old victim was rescued by passers-by after he was targeted as he walked along the pathway outside Brindley House on Alfred Road, on Tuesday at around 6.30pm.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for cuts and bruises before being discharged.
The suspects, who are all black, are aged in their late teens or early 20s.
Any witnesses that haven’t already spoken to police, or anyone with any information should call detectives on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
