A Luton man accused of shooting dead a 20-year-old in Sudbury will stand trial in February next year.
Denny De Silva is accused of gunning down Romario Green near the Sudbury Swan pub in Harrow Road, on July 2 this year.
The 23-year-old was arrested by murder detectives after he was extradited from Spain and arrived in the UK last week.
Today he appeared at the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing via a videolink.
A trial date was set for February 1 and De Silva was remanded in custody to appear before the Old Bailey for a plea and case management hearing on November 10.
