Anthony Small shot dead his victim in Hayes on Christmas Eve

A drug dealer who executed a junkie with a MAC 10 sub-machine gun on Christmas Eve because he robbed one of his pushers has been jailed for life today (Friday).

Anthony Small, 32, of High Street, Harlesden, shot dead Anthony Dickson after luring him to a park in Hayes on December 24, 2010, in revenge for the theft.

The Old Bailey heard that two weeks before his death, Mr Dickson robbed 39-year-old Satwant Virdee, one of Small’s runners, stealing crack and cash.

Small, who had made it known he would kill Dickson, arranged to met the father to carry out a drugs deal.

However, when Dickson arrived at the location Small and Max Felicino approached him and he was shot dead.

A post mortem revealed he had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Small was convicted of murder in November last year but sentencing was adjourned until Felicino and two other men were tried in connection with the killing.

Last month, Felicino, 27, from Hayes, was found guilty of Mr Dickson’s manslaughter.

Virdee and 47-year-old Clifford Stevenson, both from Hayes, were acquitted.

Small was jailed for life with a minimum tariff of 34 years.

Felicino, who was also convicted of possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine, was sentenced to 14 years for manslaughter and three years for the drug offences.

His sentence will run concurrently.

Detective Inspector Martin Ludlow, who led the murder hunt, said: “Anthony Dickson was someone’s father and son. His family will have to come to terms with his violent, premeditated murder.

“I hope they take comfort in knowing that the people responsible for his death will face a long time in jail.”
