A Kilburn man has appeared in court accused of throwing a package of cannabis over the walls of Wormwood Scrubs Prison.
Sufyan Elbakali, 20, of Alpha House in Alpha Place, is said to have lobbed the class B drug, tobacco and paper wraps into the prison yard on November 26 last year.
Police arrested him later that day in possession of a small amount of weed.
Elbakali appeared at Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court and denied conveying a ‘list A’ prohibited article into prison, throwing an article into prison and possession of cannabis.
He was bailed to attend Isleworth Crown Court on March 30 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
