Osman Ahmed Mahdi is accused of killing Omer Jama Abdi on St Valentine’s Day last year

A man has been charged with the murder of a 35-year-old in Wembley on St Valentine’s Day last year.

Omer Jama Abdi, 35, died after he was attacked in St John’s Road in the early hours of February 14, 2012.

Osman Ahmed Mahdi, 26, from Kensington, was charged with his murder today.

He will appear before Hendon Magistrates Court tomorrow.
