A drug dealer from Wembley who was caught with more than £1,000 worth of heroin and cannabis in Stonebridge has been jailed for three years.
Prince Asare, 23, of Lightley Close, was sitting as a passenger in a parked car in Mordaunt Road when he tried to run away after noticing several police officers approaching the vehicle.
When he was caught he had to be restrained before he was arrested and a search at Harlesden Police station found the drugs on his possession.
At Harrow Crown Court he admitted possession of heroin and cannabis with intent to supply.
Detective Constable Hayley Church, from Brent Police, said: “Drug dealing has no place on the streets of Brent. So if criminals get caught, like in this case, they must be prepared to be locked up for a considerable amount of time.”
