A pervert who downloaded indecent images and videos of children and animals at his office in Colindale has been sent to jail.
Anil Patel, 42, from Edgware, was snared when an IT audit at his workplace in June last year discovered he had accessed a number of pornographic websites to carry out the downloads since January 2013.
His employers called in the police and he was arrested on suspicion of possessing and making indecent images of children and animals and subsequently charged.
Last week at Harrow Crown Court he admitted three counts of having indecent images of children and one count of possession of extreme images of animals and was jailed for a year and eight months.
Acting Detective Sergeant Mark Wand said: “The public should be reassured that investigation into any form of child abuse is taken very seriously and we will work tirelessly to bring offenders like Anil Patel to justice.”
