A Harlesden man who kidnapped, tortured and murdered a drug dealer who owed his flat mate money has been jailed for life with a minimum tariff of 22 years today.
Kamil Dreszer, 27, of Greenhill Park Road, was part of a gang who snatched Andrzej Kulesza after forcing their way into his friend’s home at 4am on September 19, 2010.
The Old Bailey heard the 27-year-old victim was involved in dealing cannabis and amphetamines and was in debt to Grzegorz Misiak who lived with Dreszer.
Mr Kulesza’s remains were found dumped in a field in Northamptonshire seven months later with a ligature around his neck.
Evidence presented in court showed he was taken to Dreszer and Misiak’s flat where he was beaten with a metal bar, spat on and force-fed amphetamines and alcohol.
He was ordered to do press-ups and when he couldn’t was beaten again.
His girlfriend found out he had been kidnapped and she would need to pay a ransom after she calling friends and acquaintances querying his whereabouts.
