Fine for Kilburn trader who sold fake goods that could kill
A shop trader in Kilburn who sold fake mobile phones, tablets and electric goods which could injure or kill has been fined.
T Elie Khoury, 41, from Paddington, sold the counterfeit goods to his unsuspecting customers at a shop in Kilburn High Road.
When the police visited his business premises they witnessed several customers returning items they had bought and later discovered were fake.
He was arrested last June and charged with fraud by false representation.
Khoury was convicted of dishonestly making false representation to make gain for self/another or cause loss to other/expose other to risk at Blackfriars Crown Court and fined £500.

He was also ordered to pay costs of £1500 and compensation of £70.
