This knife was found on a man who fled police after they noticed him behaving suspiciously in a Harlesden street.
The man ran off after he came to the attention of officers in Church Road yesterday evening.
Following a foot chase he was arrested and the killer ninecm blade was found in his possession during a subsequent search.
He has been arrested on possession of carrying an offensive weapon.
Officers from Stonebridge Safer Neighbourhood Team uploaded the image of the knife on social networking website Twitter.
