The hunt is on to find two burglars who pretended they were police officers to trick their way into a house in Wembley and steal £800.

The pair claimed they were on a drug bust before handcuffing one of their two victims and searching the property in Chaterhouse Avenue.

They fled with the cash on Saturday just before 9.30pm.

Both suspects are black men aged between 20-25, around 6ft tall and clean shaven.

Both wore a policeman beat helmet, white shirt, dark coloured jacket, black trousers, black gloves and a high visibility jacket with the words ‘Police’ emblazoned across it.
