Eighty-four-year-old man is accused of stabbing friend to death
An octogenarian from Brondesbury has appeared in court today (Wednesday) charged with stabbing his friend to death.
Ezekiel McCarthy, 84, of Brondesbury Park, appeared at the Old Bailey by videolink accuse of killing 50-year-old Desbert Welsh.
Mr Welsh, of West Ella Road, Harlesden, was found in McCarthy’s flat on Saturday.
McCarthy was remanded in custody to appear before the courts for a plea and case management hearing on January 20.
