Brent woman accused of hurling anti-Muslim racist abuse on bus in Stonebridge is due in court today

A woman from Brent is due in court today accused of hurling racist abuse at a group of Muslim women on a bus in Stonebridge.

Simone Joseph is charged with racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress, contrary to section 31(1)(b) and (4) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.

The charges follow an incident on a 206 bus on Knatchball Road last Tuesday.

The 36-year-old is due to before Hendon Magistrates’ Court.
