A burglary gang believed to be behind almost 60 break-ins have been sentenced to a total of 16 years in jail today.

Isak Mohamed, 21, of Litchfield Gardens, Mohamed Hussein, 20, of Ilex Road, both in Willesden, Reece Joseph, 22, of North Circular Road, Neasden, and Adam Warren, 21, of Brooke Avenue, Wembley, are also been banned from associating with each other once they are released from prison.

In addition, all could face further court action if they enter any private gardens, driveways, yards or residential property in London without permission under the terms of a two-year Asbo.

All four were caught after they targeted a house in Tiverton Road, Queen’s Park on July 6 this year.

Harrow Crown Court heard while they made off with jewellery and other valuables witnesses noted the car they made their getaway in.

The Vauxhall Astra driven by Warren was pulled over by police in Church Road, Harlesden, an hour later.

All four, who were in the car, where arrested when Mohamed was found with the stolen items.

They initially denied conspiracy to commit burglary but faced with compelling evidence against them they admitted taking part in five burglaries and asked for a further 54 to be taken in to consideration.

Hussein was sentenced to four years, Joseph was given four years and two months, Warren received four years and Mohamed was given four years and nine months.

DC Tom Palmer from Brent Police, said: “They were a particularly brazen group, committing a number of the burglaries in Adam Warren’s car and seemed to think that they would not be caught.

“The houses they targeted were searched for cash, jewellery, phones and computers and the burglaries have had a devastating impact on the victims.”
