Mohanna Abdhou, known to family and friends as Montana, was killed in front of her friends just yards away from a children’s playground in Malvern Road on May 26.

In the footage released today two men police believe to be responsible for the shooting can be seen cycling along Malvern Place at 8.53pm just before turning into Malvern Road.

Less than a second later they were seen on Shirland Mews approaching Fernhead Road where they are caught on camera again moments later.

Mohanna was pronounced dead at the scene just over half an hour after the attack. A post mortem confirmed the cause of her death as a single gunshot wound.

Detective chief inspector Andy Partridge said: “We are certain people in the community know who has committed this horrific attack. Mohanna’s family deserve answers and that will only happen if the community tell us who carried out this attack.

“I would appeal to those harbouring the individuals responsible – those mothers, sisters, girlfriends – if you have the slightest indication your loved one may have been involved now is the time to say something. Please do not remain silent, do the right thing and come forward.

“These individuals should not be shielded by friends or family, or supported in any way. No right-minded person would want those responsible for depriving Mohanna’s family from ever seeing her again to evade capture,” he added.

The suspects are described as being slim to medium build, wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.
