Police have renewed an appeal to trace a man wanted in connection with a brawl outside a pub in Neasden that left a reveller with substantial brain damage.

The 45-year-old Polish victim suffered a fractured skull after he was punched and fell to the ground during the fight outside Charlie’s Wine Bar in Neasden Lane.

He was treated in hospital for six weeks before he returned to his homeland and now lives in a home where he receives around-the-clock care.

The victim was attacked on December 6 last year at 11.20pm, two hours after a argument took place inside the pub involving his friend and two other men.

The suspect is white, in his twenties, bald and 6ft 2ins tall.

At the time he was wearing a dark jacket and jeans.

Detective Constable Russ Ellis, from Brent Police, said, “I’m appealing to anyone who may have been in Charlie’s Bar on the night in question and who saw these males talking or arguing to call police, especially if you witnessed the incident which occurred outside once the men left the venue.

“The male who punched the victim in this incident may not realise how serious the injuries he has afflicted are and I urge him to come forward and speak with police.”

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting reference 1929512/14 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
