A 51-year-old from Brondesbury who threatened a man with a gun during an argument has been sent to prison
Joseph Cutayar pulled out the initiation firearm during a row at his home in Brondesbury Park, with a 30-year-old in December last year.
When police swopped on his home they found an air rifle and two black machine gun type rifles inside the property.
He was arrested and charged with possession of imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months in jail at Harrow Crown Court.
Detective Inspector Lily Benbow said: “Being threatened with an imitation firearm is a terrifying experience for any victim.
“I am satisfied that Joseph Cutayar has received a custodial sentence for his crime and hope that it might deter others from thinking they can use imitation firearms to frighten people.”
