A man accused of stealing a laptop belonging to the parents of a six-year-old boy during his funeral at a church in Harlesden is due in court today.
Franklyn Mathurin, 47, is accused of burglary following the theft inside the Pentecostal City Church in Scrub’s Lane, on November 2.
The laptop belonging to Pat and Norris Martin was stolen while they were burying their son TJ at Kensal Green Cemetery.
The couple realised the laptop, which had treasured photographs of their late son, was missing when they return back to the church.
Mathurin, of no fixed address, is due before Hendon Magistrates Court for a plea and case management hearing.
