A 17-year-old boy who was knifed in a double stabbing in Queen’s Park has been arrested following his discharge from hospital.
The teenager was held on suspicion of stabbing the other victim during a fight among rival gang members in Harrow Road on Friday evening.
Officers were called to the scene at the junction of Third Avenue, where they found a 20-year-old man suffering from stab wounds at 7.30pm.
He was rushed to hospital fighting for his life but his condition has since changed to critical but stable.
The 17-year-old also suffered stab wounds but made his way to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
He was arrested today by officers.
A spokesman for the Met told the Times detectives were not linking the stabbings to the murder of Oliver Tetlow in Harlesden but were looking into the possibility it was gang-related.
Detectives from Westminster Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
