Woman from Brent charged after Muslim women subjected to racist abuse on bus in Stonebridge

A woman from Brent has been charged after racist abuse was hurled at a group of Muslim women on a bus in Stonebridge.
Simone Joseph is accused of racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress, contrary to section 31(1)(b) and (4) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
The charges follow an incident on a 206 bus on Knatchball Road on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old is due to appear before Hendon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
