Brent Police are appealing for witnesses following two mobile phone robberies in Neasden which are being linked.

The first theft took place outside Food Express in Neasden Lane, after a 36-year-old man left the shop on July 9 at 11pm.

A man rushed up to him armed with a knife and demanded he handed over his money.

When the victim told him he had no money he stole his phone and fled.

Ten minutes later another man was robbed at nearby Balnacraig Avenue.

The victim had started filming the suspect on his phone after he spotted him going through bins outside his address and putting SIM cards in his pocket.

He was robbed when he confronted him.
