Two shisha bars in Neasden have been closed down for three months following a catalogue of rowdy incidents involving its revellers.

O Lounge in Neasden Lane North and a second bar at 500 Neasden Lane, were issued with the Nuisance Premises Closure Order by Brent Police forcing both to shut until November 26.

Officer has received a string of complaints from residents and businesses complaining of harassment and intimidation from noisy, disruptive revellers who also spat and urinated in the street.

They were also accused of being playing loud music from their cars and revving their engines late into the night.

On two occasions both bars agreed to close early when they were visited by police officers.

Sergeant John Lawrence from Welsh Harp Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “There are many people that live near to the shisha bars in Neasden Lane and they have been blighted with noise and anti-social behaviour for months.

“Brent police will continue to work with partners to reduce crime and anti social behaviour and keep our communities safe, as well as improve the quality of life for all who live, work, socialise and commute through the borough.”
