Police in Brent are appealing for information after an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were stabbed as they tried to break up a fight outside of a house party in Harlesden earlier this month.

The two victims were stabbed and sustained non-life threatening injuries after attempting to defuse the fight which broke out in Mayo Road at the junction with Church Road as revellers left the party at a house in Mayo Road at 12:45 am on Wednesday August 5.

The suspect, who had not attended the party, ran off down Mayo Road.

The man and woman were both taken to hospital for treatment before police arrived on the scene.

No arrests have been made and police are asking anyone with information to call Brent CID on 101 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
