An aggressive beggar from Neasden who is currently in prison for attempted robbery has been served with an indefinite Asbo banning him from behaving menacingly in public.

Jason Fearon 39, of North Circular Road, faces a further spell in jail if he breaches the order which prevents from ‘acting in a public place within the Greater London Area in a manner that causes or is likely to cause any person to fear for their safety’.

In April he was given a 10 months prison sentence for threatening to stab a man unless he gave him some money in Harlesden High Street.

The conviction related Asbo will stay in place until further order of the court

Detective Superintendent Simon Rose said: “Brent Borough has one of the highest volumes of Asbos and Crasbos in the Met.

“We continue to effectively utilise the orders as a robust and powerful means to curtail the behaviour of those that commit crime and anti-social behaviour in this borough.”
