Hunt to find man after passenger slashed with razor blade on night bus in Harlesden

The hunt is on find a passenger who slashed a man with a razor blade and attacked a woman who tried to intervene on a night bus in Harlesden.
The victim suffered cuts to his arm during the violent assault on the N18 outside Willesden Junction station on the Harrow Road.
The victim was travelling on the bus with a female when he became embroiled in an argument with a 26-year-old man who had boarded the bus at Edgware Road.
A second man got on the bus outside Willesden Junction Station and joined in the dispute before slashing the victim on his arm while his was assaulted by his accomplice.
The victim’s friend suffered minor injuries after she was also attacked when she tried to come to his rescue.
Both men fled the bus as it stopped at High Street at the junction with Tubbs Road.
However the 26-year-old was detailed by police but his accomplice is still at large.
Police have released the image of the second man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack on Sunday, 26 July at around 6am. Detective Constable Pankaj Patel of Brent CID said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man to come forward and speak to police. This was a violent attack which could have ended with a more serious outcome. The victim has been left very distressed by the incident and we urgently require the assistance of the public in helping us trace this man.”
