The victim of Friday’s fatal stabbing in Harlesden has been named on social media as the rapper Skeng.

But police have yet to officially confirm the identity of the man in his 30s who was followed into a Barber’s shop in Craven Park Road and fatally stabbed before dying in the street.

As reported in Brent&Kilburn Times, the victim was pronounced dead by London Ambulance Service at 3:20pm near to the Central Middlesex Hospital.

Hundreds have taken to social media to post tributes to Skeng, who is signed to GB Records London.

The UkRap Agency tweeted: “Rest In Peace @skeng_gb. Thoughts are with his friends and family at this moment in time

Ashleigh Blanc tweeted: “Omg I just heard the worst news ever!!!RIP Skeng I will never forget all the times you made me laugh”

Tribute videos to Skeng were also being uploaded to youtube.

Police have not yet confirmed the identity of the victim.

A Met spokesman said: “The LAS treated the man, believed aged in his 30s, but he was pronounced dead at the scene at 3.20pm.

“Officers have since established that the man was injured following an incident in Craven Park Road.”

It has been reported locally that the victim was followed into a barbers’ shop before being stabbed in front of shocked staff.
