Brent Police have seized a dog that bit an officer in Dixon Way


A dog has been seized by police after it attacked an officer and a female member of the public in Willesden.

The animal bit the two people in Dixon Way at the junction of Church Road, after police were called to reports that a man had fallen out of his wheelchair on Sunday at 7.40pm.

A 75-year-old disabled man was holding the dog by its lead when it bit the officer on his leg as he tried to assist.

A woman who tried to help was also bitten.

Both victims were taken to hospital where they were treated for their injuries which were not life threatening or changing.

The disabled man was also taken to hospital.

No arrests have made and enquires are ongoing.
