Mary Khan, 61, was charged after seven-year-old was bitten on his leg and nose

A Cricklewood woman has appeared in court after a seven-year-old was attacked by a dog as he played in a garden next door.

Mary Khan, of Gardiner Avenue, is accused of allowing a dog dangerously out of control to enter a private place after the boy was bitten on March 30 this year

The 61-year-old is claimed to have left her front door open which allowed the pet to enter the front garden next door and bite the boy on his leg and nose.

Khan appeared before Hendon Magistrates Court last week.

The case was transferred to Harrow Crown Court where she will appear on June 17.
