A 15-year-old boy accused of stabbing a pupil to death outside a school in Willesden will stand trial in May this year.
The suspect, who cannot be identified because of his age, is claimed to have knifed Quamari Serunkuma-Barnes, also 15, in the chest near Capital City Academy in Doyle Gardens, last Monday.
Quamari died in hospital.
The boy appeared at the Old Bailey today for a short administrative hearing and was remanded in custody.
He will return to court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on April 25.
Judge Paul Lucraft QC set the trial for 30 May this year.
On Sunday around 2,000 people attended a vigil in memory of Quamari outside the school.
