Detectives are making an appeal for information after burglars stole thousands of pounds worth of jewellery after breaking into a house in Wembley.

The crooks made off with the high-value, Asian gold jewellery after forcing opening a ground floor window of the property in The Avenue on December 28.

Investigating officers have released images of some of the stolen pieces.
