An Alperton man has been jailed for torching his ex-girlfriend’s home in a jealous rage.

Mark Bonner, 49, of Sunleigh Road, caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to the property in Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, on February 16 this year.

Fortunately no one was injured.

Last week at St Albans Crown Court he was jailed for two years after admitting arson - reckless as to where life endangered.
