Mary Khan was charged after seven-year-old boy bitten on nose and leg

A Cricklewood woman accused of allowing a dog dangerously out of control to enter a private place will stand trial in September.

Mary Khan, of Gardiner Avenue, was charged after a seven-year-old was attacked by a dog as he played in a garden next door.

The 61-year-old is claimed to have left her front door open which allowed the pet to enter the front garden next door and bite the boy on his leg and nose.

Last week she appeared before Harrow Crown Court.

No plea was entered.

She was bailed to return to court on August 6 for a plea and case management hearing.

The date for her trial has been set for September 2.
