A crack house and brothel in Harlesden which was making residents’ lives a misery has been closed down by the police.
The social housing property in Nicoll Road was served with a closure notice after it was being used by drug dealers and prostitutes.
The action was taken last week by Brent Council, the police and Genesis Housing Association, who own the property, after neighbours were forced to endure noise and mayhem for months.
The order lasts for three months.
Sergeant Adrian Hanna from Harlesden Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “Drug dealers and users who frequented the address made life hell for local residents. This closure sends out a clear message that actions are not without consequences.
“Deal drugs and terrorise your neighbours and you will face the consequences.”
