Christopher Houghton to appear at the Old Bailey

A court date has been set for a 33-year-old Wembley man charged in relation to the stabbing of four police officers in Kinsgbury.

Christopher Houghton, of Milford Gardens, Wembley, is to appear at the Old Bailey on November 28.

He is charged with assault by beating, causing criminal damage and two counts of causing actual bodily harm.

The charges relate to the stabbing of four police officers in Kingsbury on November 19, 2011, outside Kingsbury Halal Butchers in Kingsbury Road.

The attack, in broad daylight left three of the officers needing surgery.
