Cllr Jim Moher will reveal facts about Lord Walter Citrine

A councillor will be giving a talk about the life and work of a Wembley activist who was a leading figure in the trade union movement.

Cllr Jim Moher, historian and Labour councillor for Fryent, will be revealing interesting facts about Lord Walter Citrine as part of an event organised by Wembley History Society.

Lord Citrine was the national leader of the Trade Union Congress from the 1920s to the 1940s before becoming the Chairman of the Electricity Council.

The talk will take place at St. Andrew’s Church Hall in Church Lane, Kingsbury, on November 16 at 7.30pm.
