Comedian Eddie Izzard took to the streets of Brent to show his support for the Labour Party in the forthcoming council elections.

Mr Izzard, an renowned supporter of the party, met with residents and local business owners in Willesden to discuss issues affecting the area.

The Hollywood actor and writer, who and plans to run in the 2020 mayoral elections, was joined by Dawn Butler Brent Central Parliamentary Candidate and Labour councillors on the campaign trail.

The local elections will take place on May 22.
