Kind-hearted volunteers have raised more than £7,000 for a charity in Kenton by wrapping Christmas gifts for shoppers.
More than 80 people gave up their time to wrap gifts in return for a donation which was given to St Luke’s Hospice in Kenton Road.
In the two weeks leading up to Christmas Day the volunteers worked on a stall in St Anns and St George’s Shopping Centre in Harrow.
Pieter Strombeck, Centre Manager at St Anns, said: “We were happy to support St Luke’s Hospice and their Christmas Gift Wrapping service at St Anns again.”
There will be a host of fundraising events in aid of St Luke’s throughout 2015.
