An ambitious Chinese takeaway has launched a new vegetarian and vegan menu.

Zing Zing which has branches in Kensal Rise as well as Kentish Town, Highbury, and Elephant and Castle, now has a ‘green menu’ to accompany its existing Chinese menu. ZZ Green is available in the Kensal Rise store and they think they’ve managed to put together the best vegetarian and vegan selection in the UK.

Tasty treats include sweet sesame tofu, crispy oyster mushroom pancakes, cauliflower chow mein, and sweet potato rendang, Zing Zing’s dishes are all free of monosodium glutamate (MSG), which is considered unhealthy for your body.

Josh Magidson “Since opening, we have received many requests from our customers to increase our vegetarian & vegan offering. As the first Chinese takeout to create a dedicated vegetarian menu we wanted to make sure we did it very well. We didn’t want to replicate our current dishes, rather we wanted to create something special that would not only wow the vegetarian and vegan market, but convert the most hungry carnivores. ZZGREEN is flavoursome, it’s interesting and it’s indulgent. We truly believe that what we have created is the best vegetarian & vegan Chinese menu in the world.”
