A topping out ceremony was held to celebrate the construction of 100 new eco-friendly homes in the borough.
The Network Housing Group has built the affordable homes in Brook Avenue, Wembley.
A total of 89 homes, which are part funded by the Mayor of London’s Housing Covenant, will be offered to people on low to middle incomes.
Twenty-two are for private sale, 34 are flexible home ownership options, 25 are shared ownership and 30 are affordable rent.
All apartments, with the exception of those on the ground floor, have balconies overlooking Brook Avenue and the regenerated woodland.
Vicky Savage, Network Housing Group’s business development director, said: “These homes will make a very positive contribution to the regeneration of the Wembley Park area.
“Brook Avenue is a prime location for quality affordable housing. There is good access to shopping areas and key local services as well as great transport links. Residents are a short walk away from Wembley Park Tube station and the iconic sports stadium is just a stone’s throw away.”
