A Kilburn bar launches the King William cocktail to celebrate the royal engagement
Brent residents can raise a glass to the royal couple after a bar released a cocktail to celebrate Prince William’s engagement to Kate Middleton.
The Betsy Smith bar, in Kilburn High Road, has brought out the King William cocktail, to wet the appetites of people looking forward to the royal wedding.
The scrumptious drink is made of Evan Williams bourbon, rhubarb liqueur, lemon juice and camomile tea shaken and served up in that a quintessentially English teacup.
A spokesman for the Betsy Smith said: “With the recent news of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement brightening up an otherwise gloomy time in the UK, what better way to add a glow to one’s evening than to toast the happy couple?”
