Residents of a Cricklewood care home got up on their feet singing and dancing to celebrate the Queen’s birthday.
Staff and residents of Lansdowne Care Home in Claremont Road took part in a special event to mark the milestone birthday yesterday.
Residents, two of whom will celebrate their 100th birthday in June, enjoyed a specially baked cake, and enjoyed music from live singers Simon and Beth.
Rhoda Jaylani, activity co-ordinator at the care home, said: “It was a good occasion for the residents to celebrate the Queen’s birthday. We wanted to do something special. It was a lovely afternoon. The chef baked a big cake. Residents were really lively, singing and dancing, it was a really good atmosphere.”
