Car and motorcycle crash in Kilburn High Road

A man has been taken to hospital following a crash between a car and motorcycle.

Emergency crews were called to the junction of Kilburn High Road with Kingsgate Place where the collision occurred at approximately 12.15pm this afternoon.

A 40-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to a West London major trauma unit with non-life threatening or life-changing injuries.

The A5 Kilburn High Road and A4003 Willesden Lane is fully reopen having earlier been closed in both directions.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.17pm today to reports of a road traffic accident involving a car and a motorcycle on Kingsgate place, Kilburn.

“We sent an ambulance and treated a male for injuries at the scene. We took him as a priority to a major trauma centre in West London.”

A spokeswoman for the police added: “A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with non life threatening and non life changing injuries. The driver stopped at the scene. The incident has been passed to the collision investigators.”
