A middle-aged oriental woman suspected of being part of a criminal gang running a string of brothels has been charged with money laundering.
Li Ying, 43, of Fortune Green Road, West Hampstead appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday April 22 charged with three counts of money laundering.
Another 11 people, mainly oriental, also went before magistrates, charged with controlling prostitution for gain.
